During the Dutch process the cocoa is washed with a potassium carbonate solution. The solution neutralises the acidity of the chocolate to a pH of 7 and gives it a rich dark brown colour. The process gives the chocolate a smoother, softer, earthy flavour which is more palatable than natural cocoa. Each sachet is individually wrapped to ensure maximum freshness, making them ideal for hotels, guest houses, B&Bs, offices, or any catering establishment that has the need to offer a high-quality, thick, rich, and creamy hot chocolate for a quick and easy treat.
